Classes
Unsure of where to begin? See our class descriptions below.
VINYASA
dynamic ● energising ● challenging
Our most dynamic class, Vinyasa is a paced sequence designed to challenge and invigorate your body and mind, whilst building strength and mobility. While some of our vinyasa classes are designed for practitioners with some experience, you will be guided with focus on moving in a way that works for your body. We aim to provide accessible classes that a variety of bodies can take part in. You can expect fun challenges, clever alignment cues and to get your blood pumping.
SLOW FLOW
easeful ● soothing ● mindful
A slower-paced vinyasa class, inviting each movement to be mindful and intentional. You can expect feel-good movements, mindful cueing and a little extra time dedicated to warming up and cooling down. All the benefits of a full body movement session with a chilled out pace and more space to be. The perfect middle ground between a vinyasa and a restorative class.
RESTORATIVE
nurturing ● gentle ● restful
Restorative classes are designed to leave you feeling nurtured and restored. Mostly floor-based, and often influenced by yin or Iyengar yoga, these low energy sessions involve gentle cues, invitations for self-reflection, and supported postures. Perfect when you’re wanting to rest and restore, for both body and mind. Excellent for all practitioners. Gentle movement, stillness and support for when you want to rest and restore.
MEDITATION
grounding ● focus ● calming
Generally a non movement-based practice, Meditation classes are designed to ground, center, increase focus and to get to know yourself. With a variety of meditations, we aim to provide a practice that works for you.
PRANAYAMA
centering ● cleansing ● revitalising
Pranayama is the yogic practice of harnessing the power of breath. Whether your goal is to calm your body and mind, increase energy and focus, or to simply explore your breath, Always has a range of pranayama classes to suit you.
YOGA OFF THE MAT
deepen ● embody ● learn
Each week we add a practice or two of yoga “off the mat”, exploring the other limbs of yoga - how we interact with the world around us, and how we interact with our inner world. These practices can be one-off, or incorporated into your week or life!
YOGA CHATS
learn ● relate ● listen
Bite-sized podcasts with your teachers, exploring all things yoga - big and small. From philosophy, Sanskrit, deciphering yoga speak, yoga teaching, self-practice, and more. From 5-15 minutes.
TUTORIALS
inform ● empower ● practice
Bite-sized videos that focus on a posture or transition, our tutorials deep dive into the how, what and why of a particular movement, and how you can modify it in a class. We aim to educate and empower you through knowledge, practice and reflection.
