Our Teachers
Emilie Fincher
Emilie was introduced to yoga at the age of 16 when training with the circus. Over time, she saw first-hand how a regular practice can benefit the mind and body, physically, mentally and spiritually.
In 2014, Emilie completed her first 200 hour training with the Radhika Yoga Institute in Vrindavan, India. Emilie has since completed a further 550 hours of training with Byron Yoga Centre, Authentic Movements and the Yoga With Carson Academy.
As a qualified remedial massage therapist, Emilie has a keen interest in functional anatomy, biomechanics and logical sequencing. Emilie offers a light-hearted journey to yourself, encouraging introspection and self study through asana, pranayama, philosophy, and movement exploration.
"When I'm not on my mat I love to get outside, read fantasy novels, lift weights and learn about food as medicine.
I feel like the time away from my mat is where I notice changes that've come from Yoga, whether it be practicing resilience, presence, acceptance, contentment or feeling a part of the world around me. I'm grateful for Yoga, always."
Julie Beaumont
Julie found yoga 9 years ago, when seeking an escape from anxiety and a high-stress job. What followed was an endless journey of self discovery, and a fascination with the way that yoga made her feel, well beyond the physical.
With a yearning to help others feel better in their own lives, Julie completed her first training over 6 years ago. She believes that we can all be a little more mindful and compassionate towards ourselves both on and off the mat, and her classes provide a supportive space for people to embody the experience of a mind-body-breath connection.
"A lover of the ocean (but not waves), greenery, summer nights, big dogs, my best friend's baby and all things movement. An introvert, helper, grammar nerd, and crossword fiend! I like to challenge my nervous system with an absurd amount of caffeine each day, and I either do everything all at once, or nothing at all.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yoga helps me to s l o w d o w n. I've fallen in and out of love with my practice countless times, but I always find my way back, and it's always there waiting to catch me."
